"A great teacher is a voracious student of life who shares generously." - RoseAnn Rajni

Our Studio

RoseAnn, founder of The Prana Lab, began her wellness journey as a teen and was quickly awakened to the incredible physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga and energetic healing.

Her deep love of yoga inspired her to become a full time teacher.  She is a certified Hatha, Vinyasa, Sampoorna, Childrens and PreNatal Yoga Instructor and has also studied the Ashtanga, Kripalu and Iyengar Yoga lineages.

Her exploration deeper into more than just the physicality of yoga created a deeper connection with herself.  Hence, the path towards alternative healing was discovered.  Over time she has fine tuned her intuition and become a Thai Yoga Body Worker, gifted Reiki Master Teacher, Acutonics Practitioner and Energy healer.

RoseAnn uses her 20+ years of experience and diverse systems of healing to benefit all, personally and in the classroom.  Her compassion and love of her life’s calling comes through in her sincere touch and words. She creates and nurtures a safe environment to experience the comfort and freedom to heal and grow.

In 2010 she suffered a fall and severely broke her back.  Within months of the accident, she was back to teaching yoga, although in a body brace.  Her passion for her life's work would be her tool for healing.  After 9 months in a brace where most would have had rods put in their back and stayed far away from the mat, she found a way to let yoga guide her to healing both physically and mentally.  It was not an easy road and is an ongoing part of her daily life.  She is grateful for the experience as it has taught her empathy and compassion for those in pain whether it be acute and temporary or chronic as well as educated her on the most common ailment in our society back pain.

RoseAnn has worked extensively with professional athletes, students with special needs and of all ages. She held a position on staff at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital Rehabilitation Department utilizing her skills in yoga and pilates to help patients progress in their recovery to ease their transition back into daily life routines.

She has created a special program of yoga “ Prana Prescriptions”  (private sessions) which include a series of personalized movements on DVD coupled with soothing meditation CDs targeting the students’ specific needs and conducts a variety of classes, workshops, retreats and certifications both domestically and internationally.  Recognized and referred locally by many Orthopedic Doctors, Physical Therapists and Neurologists as one of the best yoga teachers in Broward to help those in pain, with limitations and injuries find ways to enjoy their bodies and lives again, she makes yoga work for them, her Prana Prescriptions have been life changing.

"Prana Lab teachers and students have become like family"

Years ago I met Yoga and it was love at first breath. I have been always passionate about the art of movement and body conditioning, but no matter how much I enjoyed cultivating these areas I always felt there was something missing: the spirit. Feeling that integral connection flowing organically through the rhythm of a proper breathing system was, is and will always be a very magical experience. Yoga means union and its practice leads to pure-present awareness and quieting of the mind. This oneness is the true definition of Yoga and the reason why I felt in love with it at first breath.

"Alejandra thanks Ashtanga Yoga and her devoted Ashtanga teachers for the solid and grounded foundation she developed during the first years of her Yoga journey. The style of Asana practice that defines her the most would be “Hatha Flow”, where through gentle transitions a variety of postures (Asanas) are enjoyed, linking movement to the breath organically and gracefully. Her intention as a teacher is to offer an experience that will harmonize our systems and work on connecting with our inner light: ESENCIA.".

Bob has been practicing yoga for more then 15 years, Starting in the physical Realm of bikram and continuing his journey into Meditation and Breath work.

Bob's style infuses humor into detailed  cuing of the postures with an emphasis on safe / correct alignment. Due to his extensive training and experience, Bob is comfortable teaching a variety of styles; Flow, gentle,  and restorative, always with a breath and meditative component to the physical work.

Celeste

Studio Manager

Celeste is a Florida native who started practicing yoga regularly in 2006. At 26 years old she had just undergone a lot of personal healing, change and transformation. She was in search of more depth and eventually found her way into a Yoga class after practicing in the comfort of her own home. Yoga was the perfect fit to take her deeper into her body, mind and spirit. It was that missing piece she was seeking.

After becoming a mom she had an idea to teach kids yoga, as her daughter grew she knew how beneficial it would be for her too. This is how she found her way to The Prana Lab and began her new adventure into the world of being a Yoga Instructor. She realized during her Kids Yoga Training how beneficial Yoga was for adults too, with all the information she gained, she looked forward to learning more! She started to believe she might have something to teach.

Up to this point Yoga brought an immense amount of healing and transformation into her own life on a mental, physical, emotional and spiritual level that she had to figure out a way to share it with others. She took The Prana Lab’s RCYT 200 hour training and the rest is history!

Celeste is a mother, yogi and energy healer and lives her Yoga on and off the mat. Her teaching style is in finding an intuitive way to help her students move through poses to release pent up emotional, mental, physical and spiritual blocks in the body. Her classes have been called “Gentle & Strong” which might sound conflicting but somehow she is able to bridge the gap between the two in a harmonious way. She knows Yoga has only just begun once you step off your mat and out into the world and she tries to prepare her students for that.

She ended up getting her Reiki I, II & Master’s through The Prana Lab and is working towards her Advanced 500 hour certification. It is her passion and a privilege for her to serve in the Yoga Community and she looks forward to connecting with each and every student that walks through the door!

As an Energy Healer she connects with her Intuition, Reiki & Shamanism and uses different modalities for each client’s personal healing and transformation. Her energy sessions are never the same, they're personal and unique for each client. Her main goal is to empower others to get in touch with their innate ability to heal themselves through yoga and other healing methods.

Celeste is available for Private Yoga Sessions, (Shamanic) Reiki, Shadow Work, Children's Yoga, and Energy Healing & Crystal Therapy.

David

Always being very active in sports and in the outdoors while growing up in Alaska, David was never really into group, instructor led classes, that is until his wonderful wife finally convinced him to take a yoga class.  At the end of his first yoga class, David was a big sweaty mess of a person on the mat; tired, spent and challenged but clear, open, aware and relaxed all at the same time.  Needless to say, he got hooked into yoga from the very start!  After a few years of taking as much yoga as he could, experiencing many different teachers, exploring different styles and developing a deeper interest for yoga, David took the next step along his journey and received his RYT200 hour instructor certification in Hatha yoga from The Prana Lab.

During the day, David is a design engineer where details are what distinguish good designs from great designs.  Being detailed orientatted is a characteristic that David brings over to his yoga teachings.  David’s classes focus on structure and alignment and breath awareness while emphasizing mindful and purposeful movement and how your breath facilitates that movement.  Each of David’s classes is unique in both content and flow.  David’s classes encourage students to explore their own edge mindfully and with awareness, allowing students to always grow and strengthen their yoga practice in a safe environment.

David is available for Private Yoga Sessions.

Esther

Esther has been practicing yoga since 2002. During a workshop, she made a list of all the things that needed change in her life (it was a long list) and realized that what she really needed was more yoga! Thus began her true yoga journey of personal transformation and the path to RYT200 Yoga Teacher Training.

Esther’s slow flow style allows time for students to access the full benefits of the pose, find space and breathe. Having always been an early riser and looking for yoga to start the day, Esther loves teaching ‘Sunrise Yoga’.

Joanne

Joanne started her discovery of the power of yoga almost 20 years ago studying Bikram’s heated sequence. As she continued on the path, she increased the depth of her practice by embracing other styles; including hatha, alignment, Kripalu, yin, restorative and Yoga Nidra.  Each has contributed in their own way to her mental, spiritual and physical health.

Educated as a pharmacist, Joanne appreciates how yoga can complement traditional Western medicine on the path to wellness. She used yoga to enhance her recovery from cancer and her husband’s recovery from spinal surgery. She feels commitment to regular practice is a means to continued healing and pain prevention.

Joanne completed her 200 hr. RYT with Prana Lab and 500 hr. Advanced RYT at Prana Lab with Yoga Energy School.  In addition she obtained certification in Tari Prinster’s y4c method of yoga for cancer and restorative certification with Jillian Pransky. She is dedicated to learning; attending workshops and collecting books from those that inspire her.

She is very excited to guide others in their own discovery of yoga.  Please join her on the mat for a Zen class of mindful movement, balance, strength, stretch and relaxation as well as guided Yoga Nidra meditation. The use of props allows her to customize the poses for the maximum benefit and safety of each student.  Private sessions are available; introduction to gentle yoga & classes for breast cancer recovery and beyond.

Joanne is available for Private Yoga Sessions, Reiki, Therapeutic Yoga Sessions, and Yoga for Cancer Patients and Recovery.

Jorge

Jorge considers himself a “fruit of the Prana Lab tree”, as his practice has been widely influenced by those preceding him. From Vinyasa to Kundalini, Jorge is an open-minded, open-hearted yogi; who acknowledges he is as much as student to yoga as he is as a teacher. Jorge spends his days drafting for an engineering firm and later leads community classes such as Vinyasa and Chair Yoga. He is in constant search of that which is both accessible and brings people together.

Jorge received his 200hr RYT certificate in May 2019, by ways of coping with his studies, working part-time, and playing soccer for his college. Though at times busy, he found aspects of yoga to provide him with a sense of fulfillment. Mentally, Jorge felt improvements in his ability to tune out the “unnecessary”, which helped him in more than just his studies. Physically, he believes yoga is key to the longevity of performance of athletes, as well as, one of the safest routines for those looking to self-explore.
